When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password. Teachers additionally provide school or institution details during registration.

Content You Upload

To use our study tools, you may upload notes, documents, or images. This content is processed to generate study materials, quizzes, and feedback. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the platform — pages visited, features used, quiz results, and session duration — to improve the service and personalise your experience.

Certificates

Certificates issued through Learning DEN contain your name and the credential details you or your teacher provided. Certificate records are stored and may be publicly verified via a unique credential ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Learning DEN platform.
• To generate personalised study materials, quizzes, and exam preparation content.
• To issue and verify academic certificates.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
• To ensure the security and integrity of the platform.

3. AI Processing

Learning DEN uses third-party AI services — including Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (GPT) — to process your uploaded content and generate study materials. Your content is transmitted to these services solely for the purpose of generating a response and is subject to their respective privacy policies. We do not permit these providers to use your data to train their models under our agreements with them.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account data is stored securely using Google Firebase. Uploaded files and certificates are stored using Supabase Storage. We apply industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Student Data

We take the privacy of student data seriously. We do not sell student data to third parties. We do not use student data for advertising. Student information is used solely to provide the educational services requested. Parents or guardians of students under 18 may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child’s data.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers — Firebase, Supabase, Anthropic, OpenAI — strictly to operate the platform.
• Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Learning DEN or its users.
• Teachers — a student’s teacher can view that student’s name and assigned certificates within the Teacher Portal.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to maintain your login session and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Certificate records may be retained to allow credential verification even after account deletion.
